The IBSF U21 World Snooker Championship 2012 was the 24th edition of the Junior World Snooker Championship hosted by the International Billiards & Snooker Federation . It took place from July 14th to 22nd, 2012 at the Tian Tian Snooker Club in the east Chinese city of Wuxi .

World champion became the Chinese Lü Haotian , who beat his compatriot Zhu Yinghui 9: 6 in the final. Lü also qualified for the Main Tour seasons 2013/14 and 2014/15 .

mode

60 young players took part in the world championship, which were divided into 8 groups with 7 or 8 players. In round robin mode (everyone against everyone) they played out the group placements and the first 4 of each group went on to the main tournament. There, the U21 world champion was determined in elimination mode.
