The 2015 IBSF World Snooker Championship was the 40th edition of the World Amateur Snooker Championship . It took place from November 9 to 21, 2015 at the Sunrise Grand Select Crystal Bay in the Egyptian tourist center of Hurghada . After 2002 it was the second amateur World Cup in Egypt.

The Indian Pankaj Advani became world champion for the second time after 2003 with an 8: 6 win in the final against the Chinese Zhao Xintong and thus qualified for the Main Tour seasons 2016/17 and 2017/18 . Since Advani decided not to participate in the Main Tour, Zhao got the starting place.
