IBSF U16 World Snooker Championship 2018

The IBSF U16 World Snooker Championship 2018 was a snooker tournament that took place from October 1 to 6, 2018 in the PLAYPOOL billiards hall in the Russian city ​​of Saint Petersburg . It was the second edition of the world championship for U16 juniors organized by the IBSF world amateur association .

The Swiss Luis Vetter , the only participant from the German-speaking area , was eliminated in the quarter-finals against the Irish and later finalist Aaron Hill .

Belgian Ben Mertens became world champion in the boys' category , defeating the Irishman Aaron Hill 4: 3 in the final. The highest break with 131 points was achieved by both finalist Hill and Poland's Antoni Kowalski .
