The 2000 IBSF U21 World Snooker Championship was the 14th edition of the Junior World Snooker Championship . It took place for the second time after 1991 in Bangalore , India .

The Englishman Luke Fisher became world champion with an 11: 5 win in the final against the Scotsman Steven Bennie .
