The IBSF U21 World Snooker Championship 2003 was the 17th edition of the Junior World Snooker Championship hosted by the International Billiards & Snooker Federation . It took place from July 15th to 29th in Taupo on the North Island of New Zealand .

The Australian Neil Robertson took the title with an 11: 5 win in the final against the Chinese Liu Song .

mode

62 players had registered for the U21 World Cup. The tournament began with a group phase in which the participants competed in 8 groups of 7 or 8 players in round robin mode (everyone against everyone). The top 4 in each group then qualified for the main tournament. These 32 players then determined the U21 world champion in an elimination tournament.
