1974 IBSF World Snooker Championship
The 1974 IBSF World Snooker Championship was the sixth edition of the World Amateur Snooker Championship . It took place at the Crofton Airport Hotel in the Irish capital, Dublin . World champion was defending champion Ray Edmonds from England, who defeated Geoff Thomas from Welsh in the final 11: 9. Alwyn Lloyd from Welsh played the highest break of the tournament with 104 points.

The 18 participating players were divided into two groups in which they competed against each other in round robin mode . The four best placed in both groups qualified for the final round, which was played out in the knockout system .
