Pamela Ware (born February 12, 1993 in Greenfield Park , Quebec ) is a Canadian water diver . She mainly competes in artificial and synchronized jumping from the 3-meter board.

Career

Pamela Ware started diving in Brossard with her older sister Carol-Ann Ware at the age of seven . In 2009 she started synchronized jumping with her sister in Madrid for the first time at the FINA Grand Prix and finished second, in 2010 Pamela won bronze from the 1-meter board at the Junior World Championships. In the same year she took part in the Youth Olympic Games , where she was fourth from the 3-meter board and eighth from the 10-meter tower, as well as in the Commonwealth Games, in which she competed in all five disciplines and achieved fifth place as the best result in synchronized jumping from the 3-meter board. In 2011 and 2012 she started in the Grand Prix and reached several podium places in individual and synchronized jumping with Carol-Ann Ware. At the 2012 World Cup in London , she was fourth in jumping from the 3-meter board.

After Émilie Heymans retired , Pamela Ware became Jennifer Abel's new 3-meter dubbing partner in 2013 . At the 2013 World Championships in Barcelona , Ware won bronze in both the individual and synchronized jumping from the 3-meter board, and she was fifth on the 1-meter board. Pamela Ware has been starting from the 3-meter board in the Diving World Series since 2014 and has achieved several second and third places. At the 2014 World Cup in Shanghai , she came fifth in the individual and second in synchronized jumping from the 3-meter board; At the Commonwealth Games 2014 she won silver in synchronized jumping. In 2015 she won silver in both individual (behind Jennifer Abel) and synchronized jumping (together with Jennifer Abel) at the Pan American Games in Toronto . At the World Championships in Kazan , Abel and Ware were runner-up on the 3-meter board, and Pamela Ware was fifth in the individual.

Pamela Ware trains with Aaron Dziver in Montreal . She studied social and behavioral sciences at Vanier College .
