Jennifer Abel (born August 23, 1991 in Montreal ) is a Canadian water diver . She starts in artificial jumping from the 1-m and 3-m board as well as in 3-m synchronized jumping. Abel started diving when he was five. She starts for the association CAMO Natation Montreal . She is trained by Cesar Henderson.

Abel landed her first sporting success at the Junior World Championship in 2006, where she won bronze from the 3-meter board. She participated in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing in part. From the 3-meter board she reached the semi-finals and finally landed 13th. At the 2009 World Championships in Rome , she was twelfth on the 1-meter board and eleventh on the 3-meter board. With Melanie Rinaldi , she also achieved fourth place in the 3 m synchronized jumping. In 2010 Abel celebrated her first international title. At the Commonwealth Games she won gold from the 1-meter board and with Émilie Heymans in 3-meter synchronized jumping. She also won the silver medal from the 3-meter board. At the 2011 World Championships in Shanghai , the duo won the silver medal in the 3-meter synchronized jumping, Abel also won the bronze medal in the individual from the 3-meter board. With Heymans she won silver in the 3-meter synchronized jumping at the Pan American Games 2011 in Guadalajara . At the 2012 Olympic Games in London she took third place in the 3-meter synchronized jumping, and at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro she took fourth place in both the individual and synchronized jumping from the 3-meter board.

Abel is a multiple Canadian champion.
