Melanie Rinaldi (born August 12, 1979 in Montreal ) is a Canadian water diver . She starts for the association CAMO Natation Montreal in artificial jumping from the 1-meter and 3-meter board and in 3-meter synchronized jumping. She is trained by Cesar Henderson and Aaron Dziver.

Rinaldi started diving at the age of 14 and was therefore relatively late. She achieved her first success in 2002. At the national championships she was third from the 3-meter board and thus qualified for the Commonwealth Games in Manchester . There she was sixth from the 1-meter board and seventh from the 3-meter board. Three years later she took part in a world championship for the first time in Montreal . There she achieved tenth place on the 3-meter board. At the Commonwealth Games 2006 in Melbourne Rinaldi won her only medal at an international championship. With Rebecca Barras she reached silver in the 3-meter synchronized jumping. In 2009 she won her first national title. With her new partner Jennifer Abel she started at the World Championships in Rome and came fourth in the 3-meter synchronized jumping.

Rinaldi studied at the University of Miami . She started for the university's sports team, the Hurricanes .
