IBSF U16 World Snooker Championship 2017
The IBSF U16 World Snooker Championship 2017 was a snooker tournament that took place from October 2 to 8, 2017 in the PLAYPOOL billiards hall in the Russian city of Saint Petersburg . It was the first edition of the world championship for U16 juniors organized by the IBSF .
No player from the German-speaking area took part.

Welshman Dylan Emery , who defeated Russian Mikhail Terekhov 4-1 in the final , became world champion in the boys' category . The Japanese Keishin Kamihashi played the highest break with 110 points in his group game against the Latvian Filips Kalniņš .
