1970 World Amateur Snooker Championship

The 1970 World Amateur Snooker Championship was an amateur snooker tournament that was played from October 19 to November 7, 1970 at the Meadowbank Sports Center in Edinburgh . In an all-English final, Jonathan Barron beat Sid Hood 11: 7 . The preliminary round was played in two groups, the group winners faced each other in the final.
