The 2019 IBSF U18 World Snooker Championship was a snooker tournament that took place from July 5-8 , 2019 at the Pingdu Olympic Sports Center in the Chinese city of Qingdao . It was the fifth edition of the world championship for U18 juniors organized by the IBSF .
The winner was the Chinese Jiang Jun who beat his compatriot Gao Yang 5: 2 in the final. Gao also played the tournament's highest break with 121 points against the Russian Mikhail Terekhov in the round of 21 .
Nobody from Germany could qualify for the tournament because no player had reached the quarter-finals of the U18 European Championship . No players from other German-speaking countries took part either.

The 35 participants were divided into 7 groups in which they competed against each other in round robin mode . The top three players in each group qualified for the final round, which was played in the knockout system , with the top eleven players in the group stage receiving a bye.
