The 1995 IBSF World Snooker Championship was the 22nd edition of the World Amateur Snooker Championship . It was held from November 10th to 25th, 1995 at the Jury's Hotel in Bristol . After 1985 it took place in England for the second time .

The Thai Sakchai Sim-Ngam became world champion with an 11: 7 victory in the final against the Englishman David Lilley . Defending champion Mohammed Yousuf was eliminated in the round of 16 against Tim English .

mode

The 87 participants were divided into eight groups in which they competed against each other in round robin mode . The top two in each group qualified for the final round, which was played out in the knockout system .
