The IBSF U21 World Snooker Championship 2013 was the 25th edition of the Junior World Snooker Championship hosted by the International Billiards & Snooker Federation . It took place from July 11th to 19th, 2013 in the Snooker Academy of the Chinese Association in Beijing .
World champion was Lu Ning , who beat Zhou Yuelong 9: 4 in a purely Chinese final . He qualified for the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons of the professional snooker tour .
mode
86 juniors competed in the 2013 U21 World Cup. They were divided into 14 groups with six or seven players, in which they competed against each other in round robin mode . The first 4 of each group then qualified for the main tournament in elimination mode.
Main tournament
56 players had qualified for the final tournament of the World Cup. The first 8 on the seeding list got a bye for the first round.

Both players had already participated in the U21 World Cup in 2012 and Zhou Yuelong had reached the semi-finals. He also took the lead 1-0 in that year's final, but then Lu Ning took the lead. 3: 1 and 5: 3 were the intermediate results of the first session. In the evening session, Lu then moved away to 8: 3 and finally won 9: 4.
