World ranking

From this season on, the world snooker ranking is based on the prize money won over the last 24 months. It was updated after every tournament that has the status of a world ranking tournament or minor ranking tournament. Several times during the season - at the so-called cut-off points - the world rankings became the new seeding list for the following tournaments.

Qualification for the Main Tour 2014/15 and 2015/16

In addition to the 64 best-placed players in the new world prize money ranking at the end of the 2013/14 season and the 33 players who were guaranteed a starting place for the 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons, 31 others (except Hossein Vafaei ) were given a starting place for the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons.

Qualification via the European Tour Order of Merit
Qualification through the Asian Tour Order of Merit
Qualification via the Q School ( tournament 1 and tournament 2 )
Qualification via the EBSA Qualifying Tour
International championships
