The list of winners of the Snooker World Ranking lists all winners of Snooker - World ranking on since their introduction. The first owner was Ray Reardon from Welsh in 1975 . Since then, a total of 11 different players have been ranked number 1 in the ranking.
Until 1981/82, the world rankings resulted exclusively from the results of the previous three world championships. Only then did other tournaments receive the status of world ranking tournaments. Nevertheless, the official world rankings were not updated until the end of the season, after the end of the World Snooker Championship . Between the other tournaments, a so-called provisional world ranking list was kept, the front runners are not listed. Only since the 2010/11 season has the official world rankings been updated after each tournament in which there are ranking points.
