The International Championship is a Snooker - ranking tournament of the World Snooker Tour .
history
The tournament was launched in 2012. In addition to the Shanghai Masters , the Wuxi Classic , the China Open and the Haikou World Open , it is the fifth ranking tournament in China. For the first three years, the tournament took place in centrally located Chengdu . The venue changed between the Tennis Center and Music Park.
The tournament has been held in Daqing , in Heilongjiang Province in northeast China, since 2015 .
