World ranking
Player of the Main Tour 2018/19
Due to disputes between the professional association WPBSA and the amateur association IBSF , the Main Tour qualification through the amateur associations and their tournaments was discontinued. Only the U21 World Cup and the junior and senior championships of the European association , for which the players had already registered before the announcement, were not affected . The newly introduced WSF Championship 2018 replaced the amateur world championship; there were neither title holders nor nominations from Asia, Africa and Oceania. This reduced the number of professionals to 128 this season.
In addition to the 64 best-placed players in the world rankings at the end of the 2017/18 season and 33 players who were eligible to start for two years in 2017, the following 31 players will be given a starting place for the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons:
Qualification via the one-year ranking Qualification via the EBSA Amateur Play Offs Qualification via the CBSA China Tour International championships: |
Qualification via the Q School ( tournament 1 , tournament 2 and tournament 3 )
