Estables is a village and a commune déléguée in the southern French commune of Monts-de-Randon with 165 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lozère department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Languedoc-Roussillon ).

On January 1, 2019, the municipality of Estables merged with Servières , La Villedieu , Saint-Amans and Rieutort-de-Randon to form the Commune nouvelle Monts-de-Randon. It belonged to the canton of Saint-Alban-sur-Limagnole and the Arrondissement of Mende .

Neighboring municipalities were Les Laubies and Saint-Denis-en-Margeride in the north-west, La Villedieu in the north, Saint-Sauveur-de-Ginestoux (point of contact) in the north-east, Arzenc-de-Randon in the east, Rieutort-de-Randon in the south and Saint -Amans in the west.

The Chapeauroux River has its source in this area . The highest point in the Commune déléguée is the Signal de Randon at 1,551 meters above sea level. In addition to the main settlement, Estables also includes the hamlets of Estivareille, Froidviala, La Bastide, La Salassette, La Salesse Haute, La Salesse Basse, Les Combettes du Château, Les Combettes de Rabat, Limousis, Linas and Tartaronne.
