The Arrondissement Mende is an administrative unit of the Lozère department in the French region of Occitania . Prefecture is Mende .

It consists of eleven cantons and 114 municipalities. When the French arrondissements were created in 1800, Lozère initially had a third, the Marvejols arrondissement with ten cantons around the town of Marvejols . It was dissolved in 1926 and fully incorporated into the Mende arrondissement.
