Trélans ( identical in Occitan ) is a southern French municipality with 92 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lozère department in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Mende and the canton of Aumont-Aubrac (until 2015: canton of Saint-Germain-du-Teil ). The inhabitants are called Trélandais .

Trélans is located in the area of the Causse de Sauveterre in the south massif Central in the Cevennes in the historical landscape of Gevaudan . Trélans is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Les Salces in the north and northeast, Les Hermaux in the east, Saint-Pierre-de-Nogaret in the east and southeast, Saint-Laurent-d'Olt in the south, Pomayrols in the southwest and Aurelle-Verlac in the west and Northwest.
