Marvejols ( Occitan. Maruèjols ) is a town in France in the Occitanie region in the Lozère department . The city is located on the banks of the Colagne River and has 4722 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) on an area of 12.45 km².
Marvejols received the 2000 European Prize for his achievements on the promotion of the European idea.
