Les Salces ( Occitan : Las Salças ) is a southern French municipality with 97 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lozère department in the Occitania region . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Mende and the canton of Aumont-Aubrac (until 2015: canton of Saint-Germain-du-Teil ). The inhabitants are called Salcéens .

Les Salces is located in the area of the Causse de Sauveterre in the south massif Central in the Cevennes in the historical landscape of Gevaudan . Les Salces is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Marchastel in the north, Saint-Laurent-de-Muret in the east and northeast, Chirac in the east and southeast, Bourgs sur Colagne in the southeast, Saint-Germain-du-Teil in the south and southeast, Les Hermaux in the South, Trélans in the west and southwest, Saint Geniez d'Olt et d'Aubrac with Aurelle-Verlac in the west and Nasbinals in the northwest.
