Chirac is a village and a commune déléguée in the French commune of Bourgs sur Colagne with 1,043 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lozère department in the Occitanie region . Chirac is about 650 meters above sea level.
The municipality of Chirac merged with Le Monastier-Pin-Moriès on January 1, 2016 to form the Commune nouvelle Bourgs sur Colagne. It belonged to the arrondissement of Mende and the canton of Saint-Germain-du-Teil and was the capital of the canton of Chirac from March 2015 until the municipal merger in 2016 .
