The Colagne is a river in France that runs in the Lozère department in the Occitanie region . It rises in the Margeride landscape , in the municipality of Arzenc-de-Randon and flows through the Lac de Charpal reservoir in its headwaters . The Colagne first drains in a westerly direction, then swings to the southwest and flows into the Lot as a right tributary after 59 kilometers below Le Monastier-Pin-Moriès .
