Rieutort-de-Randon ( Occitan : Rieutòrt de Randon ) is a village and a commune déléguée in the southern French commune of Monts-de-Randon with 774 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lozère department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Languedoc -Roussillon ). The inhabitants are called Rieutortais .
The municipality of Rieutort-de-Randon merged with Servières , La Villedieu , Estables and Saint-Amans to form the Commune nouvelle Monts-de-Randon on January 1, 2019 . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Mende and the canton of Saint-Alban-sur-Limagnole (until 2015 Saint-Amans ).

Rieutort-de-Randon is located in the area of the Causse de Sauveterre on Colagne in the south massif central in the Cevennes in the historic landscape of Gevaudan . The municipality of Rieutort-de-Randon was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Saint-Amans and Estables in the north, Arzenc-de-Randon in the east, Le Born in the southeast, Chastel-Nouvel in the south, Servières in the south and southwest, Lachamp in the west and Ribennes in the north-west.
