Lachamp ( Occitan : La Cham ) is a village and a commune déléguée in the southern French municipality of Lachamp-Ribennes with 171 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lozère department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Languedoc-Roussillon ). The inhabitants are called Coperoches .

The municipality of Lachamp merged with Ribennes on January 1, 2019 to form the Commune nouvelle Lachamp-Ribennes. It belonged to the Arrondissement of Mende and the canton of Marvejols (until 2015 Saint-Amans ).

Lachamp is located in the area of ​​the Causse de Sauveterre in the southern Massif Central in the Cevennes in the historic landscape of Gevaudan . Lachamp is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Ribennes in the north, Rieutort-de-Randon in the east and northeast, Servières in the east and southeast, Gabrias in the south, Montrodat in the southwest, Saint-Léger-de-Peyre in the west and Recoules-de-Fumas in the Northwest.
