Saint-Bauzile ( Sent Bausèli in Occitan ) is a French commune with 621 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lozère (Losera) department in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Mende and the canton of Saint-Étienne-du-Valdonnez (until 2015: canton of Mende-Sud ). The inhabitants are called Bauziliens in French .

Saint-Bauzile is located in the south of the Massif Central in the Cevennes . Saint-Bauzile is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mende in the north, Brenoux in the east and north-east, Pelouse in the east, Badaroux in the south and south-west and Chastel-Nouvel in the west and south-west.
