Chaulhac ( Occitan : Cholhac ) is a southern French municipality with 70 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lozère department in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Mende and the canton of Saint-Alban-sur-Limagnole (until 2015: canton of Le Malzieu-Ville ).

Chaulhac is surrounded by the neighboring communities Chaliers in the north and northwest, Lorcières in the north and northeast, Julianges in the east and northeast, Saint-Léger-du-Malzieu in the east and southeast, Albaret-Sainte-Marie in the south and southwest and Loubaresse in the west.
