Naussac reservoir

Naussac-Fontanes is a French commune with 356 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lozère department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the canton of Langogne and the arrondissement of Mende .

It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2016 by amalgamating the previous municipalities of Naussac and Fontanes , which have since had the status of a Commune déléguée .

location

The municipality marker is located on both sides of the Lac de Naussac reservoir on the Allier river . Neighboring communities are Saint Bonnet-Laval in the north-west, Rauret and Saint-Étienne-du-Vigan in the north, Pradelles in the east, Langogne , Rocles and Chastanier in the south and Auroux in the west.
