Paulhac-en-Margeride ( Occitan : Paulhac de Marjarida ) is a southern French municipality with 101 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lozère department in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Mende and the canton of Saint-Alban-sur-Limagnole (until 2015: canton of Le Malzieu-Ville ). The inhabitants are called Paulhacois .

location

Paulhac-en-Margeride is the northernmost municipality in the Lozère department. It is located in the Margeride mountains , on the Desges river , in the historic Gévaudan landscape . Paulhac-en-Margeride is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Auvers in the north, La Besseyre-Saint-Mary in the north and north-east, Saugues in the east and south-east, Le Malzieu-Forain in the south, Saint-Privat-du-Fau in the west and south-west, Julianges in the west and Clavières in the northwest.
