There are also two older table mountains , the peaks of which were abraded during the last Ice Age: the Montagne de Rabios with its highest elevation, the Moure de Legue ( 1353 m ) and the Plô du Faltre ( 1380 m ). economy
For centuries, agriculture in the region was primarily self-sufficient . Today - in addition to the breeding of Aubrac cattle , which is largely carried out in the form of suckler cow husbandry - tourism in the form of renting holiday apartments ( gîtes ) plays a not unimportant role in the economic life of the municipality.
history
The place and parish have been dependent on the collegiate church of Marvejols through a bull by Pope Martin V since the early 15th century . The Huguenots , Camisards and Cevennes Wars in the 16th, 17th and early 18th centuries left no traces in Saint-Laurent.

- The parish church of the village is a building from the 19th century with a mixture of neo-Romanesque and neo-Gothic elements.
