Fau-de-Peyre is a former French commune with 188 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lozère department in the Occitanie region .

With effect from January 1, 2017, it became a nouvelle commune with the name Peyre en with the former municipalities of Aumont-Aubrac , Javols , La Chaze-de-Peyre , Sainte-Colombe-de-Peyre and Saint-Sauveur-de-Peyre Aubrac affiliated . Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée there .

geography

Fau-de-Peyre is tangent to the east by the Rimeize River . Neighboring towns are Les Bessons in the north, Aumont-Aubrac in the east, La Chaze-de-Peyre in the south-east, Prinsuéjols and Malbouzon in the south-west and La Fage-Montivernoux in the west.
