Prinsuéjols is a village in the Massif Central , in the French department of Lozère , in the administrative region of Occitania (before 2016 Languedoc-Roussillon ) and in the arrondissement of Mende . The previously independent municipality of the canton of Aumont-Aubrac ( Nasbinals until 2015 ) was merged with Malbouzon to form Commune nouvelle Prinsuéjols-Malbouzon with effect from January 1, 2017 .

Prinsuéjols is at an altitude of more than 1000 meters above sea level. Neighboring towns are Malbouzon in the northwest, Fau-de-Peyre in the north, La Chaze-de-Peyre in the northeast, Sainte-Colombe-de-Peyre in the east, Le Buisson in the southeast, Saint-Laurent-de-Muret in the south and Marchastel in the West.
