Reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017
As a result of the reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017, the area of the seven municipalities of Brézilhac , Fenouillet-du-Razès , Ferran , Hounoux , Lasserre-de-Prouille , Verzeille and Villefloure from the Arrondissement Limoux was assigned to the Arrondissement Carcassonne .
