Coudons is a French commune in Arrondissement Limoux in the department of Aude in the region Occitania (before 2016 Languedoc-Roussillon ) in the foothills of the Pyrenees . It has 52 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). Coudons belongs to the canton of La Haute-Vallée de l'Aude (until 2015 Quillan ) and to the communauté de communes Pyrénées Audoises . The inhabitants are called Coudonais .

geography

Coudons is about 50 kilometers south-southwest of Carcassonne . Coudons is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Nébias in the north, Brenac (today: Quillan ) in the northeast, Ginoles in the east, Quirbajou in the south and southeast and Belvis in the south and west.
