Pauligne is a municipality with 357 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the French department of Aude in Occitania (before 2016 Languedoc-Roussillon ). It belongs to the canton of La Region Limouxine (until 2015 Limoux ) in the Arrondissement of Limoux . The inhabitants are called Paulignois .

Pauligne is about 25 kilometers southwest of Carcassonne . Pauligne is surrounded by the neighboring communities Routier in the north and north-west, Lauraguel in the north and north-east, Gaja-et-Villedieu in the east, Malras in the south and south-east, Loupia in the south and south-west and Donazac in the west.
