Counozouls ( Occitan Conòsols ) is a municipality with 48 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the French administrative region of Occitania (before 2016 Languedoc-Roussillon ), in the Aude department , in the Limoux arrondissement and in the canton of La Haute-Vallée de l'Aude ( until 2015 Axat ). The inhabitants are called Conouzals .

geography

Counozouls is about 60 kilometers west of Perpignan on the river Aiguette . Neighboring municipalities are Sainte-Colombe-sur-Guette in the north, Mosset in the south and east, Le Bousquet in the west and Roquefort-de-Sault in the west and north-west.
