The Aiguette is a river in France that runs in the Aude department in the Occitanie region . It rises in the Pyrénées , in the Massif du Madrès , on the southwest flank of the Pic du Bernard Sauvage (2423 m). The source is located in the extreme south of the municipality of Le Bousquet , just outside the Pyrénées Catalanes Regional Natural Park . The river generally drains in a northerly direction and after around 20 kilometers flows into the Aude as a right tributary at the municipal boundary of Sainte-Colombe-sur-Guette and Roquefort-de-Sault , at the Nentilla hydropower station .
