Roquefeuil ( Occitan : Ròcafuèlh ) is a southern French municipality with 289 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the south of the Aude department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Languedoc-Roussillon ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Limoux and the canton of La Haute-Vallée de l'Aude ( Belcaire until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Roquefeuillois .

Roquefeuil is about 60 kilometers southwest of Carcassonne . Roquefeuil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bélesta in the north and northwest, Rivel in the north, Espezel in the east, Niort-de-Sault in the south and Belcaire and Fougax-et-Barrineuf in the west.
