Val-du-Faby is a French commune with 562 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aude department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the canton of Quillan and the arrondissement of Limoux .

It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 by amalgamating the previous municipalities Fa and Rouvenac , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Fa.

Neighboring municipalities are Festes-et-Saint-André in the northwest, La Serpent in the north, Antugnac in the northeast, Espéraza in the east, Campagne-sur-Aude in the southeast, Quillan in the south, Puivert in the southwest and Saint-Jean-de-Paracol in the west .
