Val-de-Dagne is a French commune with 739 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aude department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the canton of La Montagne d'Alaric and the Arrondissement of Carcassonne .

It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 by amalgamating the previous municipalities of Montlaur and Pradelles-en-Val , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are located in Montlaur.

Neighboring municipalities are Floure and Barbaira in the north-west, Capendu and Comigne in the north, Douzens in the north-east, Lagrasse in the east, Serviès-en-Val in the south, Arquettes-en-Val and Fajac-en-Val in the south-west and Monze in the west.
