Saint-Martin-Lalande ( Occitan : Sant Martin la Landa ) is a municipality with 1,124 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the west of the Aude department in the Occitania region of southern France (before 2016: Languedoc-Roussillon ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Carcassonne and the canton of Le Bassin Chaurien (until 2015: canton of Castelnaudary-Sud ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Martinois or Lalandais .

Saint-Martin-Lalande is located about 23 kilometers west-northwest of Carcassonne between the Fresquel and the Canal du Midi . The Canal du Midi flows in the southwest. Saint-Martin-Lalande is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Papoul in the north, Lasbordes in the east, Pexiora in the south, Laurabuc in the south and south-west, Mireval-Lauragais in the south-west and Castelnaudary in the west.
