Plavilla ( Occitan : Planvialar ) is a municipality with 110 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the west of the Aude department in the Occitania region of southern France (before 2016: Languedoc-Roussillon ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Carcassonne and the canton of La Piège au Razès (until 2015: canton Fanjeaux ). The inhabitants are called Plavillais .

location

Plavilla is about 40 kilometers west-southwest of Carcassonne . Plavilla is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ribouisse in the north, Saint-Julien-de-Briola in the north-east, Saint-Gaudéric in the east and south-east, Sainte-Foi in the south, Mirepoix in the west and south-west and Lafage in the north-west.
