Laurabuc ( Occitan : Laurapuc ) is a French commune with 412 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aude department in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Carcassonne and the canton of La Piège au Razès (until 2015: Canton Castelnaudary-Sud ). The inhabitants are called Laurabuciens .

Laurabuc is about 30 kilometers west-northwest of Carcassonne . Laurabuc is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Martin-Lalande in the north and northeast, Pexiora in the east and northeast, Villasavary in the east and southeast, Laurac in the south and Mireval-Lauragais in the west.
