Wilhelm von Henle

Wilhelm von Henle (born December 21, 1846 in Straubing , † December 31, 1914 in Munich ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born as the son of a battalion doctor, Henle studied law in Würzburg after attending high school in Straubing . During his studies in 1866 he became a member of the Arminia fraternity in Würzburg . He took part in the German War in 1866 and in the Franco-German War in 1870/71 . After completing his studies in 1873, he became a trainee lawyer and, in 1879, an assessor at the Kissingen Regional Court . There he became a magistrate . In 1884 he went to the Augsburg Regional Court as second public prosecutor and in 1888 as a councilor to the Munich Regional Court. After a stint in 1890 in the Ministry of Justice , he became in 1892 the first prosecutor in 1894 Regierungsrat , 1897 Oberregierungsrat and 1899 Ministerial . In 1902 he became general secretary in the Ministry of Justice and chairman of the examination committee at the University of Munich for the first state examination . In 1905 he was promoted to the State Council in the ordinary service with the title of excellence and in 1906 Ministerial Director before retiring in 1910. He published numerous, mainly legal, writings.
