The Augsburg Regional Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction . It is one of 22 regional courts in the Free State of Bavaria . The court is housed in the Palace of Justice at Am Alten Einlaß 1 . The criminal chambers are located in the criminal justice center at Gögginger Straße 101 .

The Augsburg Regional Court is one of ten regional courts over which the Munich Higher Regional Court is superordinate; subordinate are the local courts in Aichach , Augsburg , Dillingen an der Donau , Landsberg am Lech and Nördlingen .

Forerunner of today's country Court Augsburg is established in 1857, District Court Augsburg, which in a 1879 District Court was converted.
