The Canton Castelnaudary-Sud was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement Carcassonne , in the department of Aude and the region Languedoc-Roussillon . The canton included the southern part of the city of Castelnaudary , which was also its capital (French: chef-lieu ), and twelve other municipalities. The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.
The canton created in 1801 averaged 170 m , between 124 m in Villepinte and 361 m in Villeneuve-la-Comptal.
