The canton of Carcassonne-2-Nord was a French canton in the Arrondissement of Carcassonne , in the Département Aude and in the Languedoc-Roussillon region until 2015 . It included the northern part of the city of Carcassonne and another municipality. It was created in 1997 through the division of the larger canton of Carcassonne-2 and was dissolved again in March 2015 when the entire department was re-divided into cantons.
