The canton of Les Basses Plaines de l'Aude is a French constituency in the Aude department in the Occitanie region . It comprises six parishes in the Arrondissement of Narbonne . During the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons, it was initially continued as the canton of Coursan in 2015 . A later decree gave the canton its current name on January 1, 2016.
